We definitely have a large variety of Antiques in our shop. During the 1920's with the discovery of King Tut's tomb in November of 1922, there was a great interest in everything Egyptian. We have a stool designed to look like an
Egyptian Ibis. The seat is of" leopard" skin. There was one similar that went through
Christis. Obelisk and pyramids as well as sphinx were of great interest. This was just another Egyptian revial. There has been interest in all things Egyptian since the renaissance. In the 19th century Napoleon's envasion of Egypt caused a great deal of interest in everything Egypt.
